I just bought a new microphone, and here’s a quick video unboxing, building, and testing it. I chose the Samson C01U as it had some great reviews by other YouTubers, and came in a pack with a nice stand and shock mount.

The Samson C01U is a USB Condenser Microphone with a cardioid pickup. The difference between the Samson C01U and the Samson C03U is that the C03U has additional pickup patterns (omni-directional and figure-8) and a high-pass filter (-10db).
